Job Type: Part-Time, Regular 3 days a week (Monday to Wednesday)
Daily Rate: £85-£95 per day
Part Time TA Woodbridge. Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact across a primary school? We are seeking a dedicated TA to support learners across all year groups, from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Year 6. This varied role offers the opportunity to engage with pupils of all abilities and is available for an immediate start, with potential for ongoing work. Additional hours may be available on Thursdays and Fridays to assist in Early Years for those interested.
Provide in-class assistance throughout the school, focusing on engaging and motivating pupils across all year groups.
All TAs get a 30-minute lunch break, before or after, you will supervise children in the playground.

Responsibilities for Part-Time Float Teaching Assistant (Monday to Wednesday) – Woodbridge:
- Provide in-class support tailored to individual needs, with a focus on engaging pupils and enhancing their learning experience.
- Collaborate with class teachers to deliver lessons, adapting activities and tasks to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Implement Thrive-based strategies (if applicable) to support social, emotional, and academic development.
- Help maintain a calm, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels encouraged to thrive.
- Supervise children during lunch breaks and on the playground, ensuring a safe, supportive, and enjoyable play environment.
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to foster engagement, positive behaviour, and a love of learning.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a primary school setting.
- Thrive training (highly desirable) or a commitment to supporting children with social and emotional learning needs through suitable approaches.
- Strong communication, empathy, and patience to effectively engage and motivate learners.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support pupils’ overall well-being and academic progress.
- Passion for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
