4myschools are seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to work at a primary school in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.
Are you an experienced and passionate primary teacher looking for a part-time role in a supportive school environment? We are seeking a Year 4 teacher to join our vibrant team starting in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic group of students and contribute to their academic and personal development on a part-time basis (2.5 – 3 days a week).
Key Responsibilities for a Part Time Year 4 Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching to Year 4 students
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Support students’ learning and development, both academically and personally
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents about progress
- Work collaboratively with the Year 4 team and other staff members to promote a positive learning environment
- Contribute to the school’s ethos of care, respect, and inclusion
Requirements for a Part Time Year 4 Teacher:
- Qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in primary education
- Experience teaching Year 4 (preferred but not essential)
- Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and assessment requirements
- Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A passion for helping children develop their potential
