Responsibilities for PPA Teacher Jobs Ipswich:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2, following the school’s curriculum and ensuring a consistent learning experience for students.
- Adapt to teaching in different classrooms, covering for teachers during their planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time.
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons when required, catering to the needs and abilities of all pupils.
- Mark work and provide constructive feedback to support students’ progress and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and adhere to the school’s policies and procedures.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring all students are on task and supported.
- Build strong relationships with students, fostering a sense of trust and mutual respect.
Requirements:
- A recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Proven experience teaching in primary schools, ideally across both KS1 and KS2.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
- A flexible and proactive approach to cover various classes and year groups.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- An enhanced Child Workforce Only DBS check on the update service or willingness to undergo one.
