Are you a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity? Our vibrant primary school in Hitchin is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our team for a one-year fixed term, starting in September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled educator to make a real impact in the lives of young learners, in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. We are looking for a dynamic teacher who is committed to fostering a love of learning and creating an inspiring classroom experience for all children.
Responsibilities as a Primary Class Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students, encouraging both academic and personal growth.
- Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and constructive way, ensuring a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
- Work closely with parents and carers to ensure the well-being and progress of every child.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and support staff to deliver high-quality education.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is preferred, but we welcome applications from NQTs.
- A passionate and creative approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
- A commitment to the well-being and development of every child in your care.
- An enhanced DBS (or wiling to obtain one)
