Are you an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for flexible work in a supportive and welcoming school environment? We are seeking a passionate HLTA to join our team on a daily supply basis in Burston, Norfolk.
About the Role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to classroom teachers across a range of subjects. Your role will involve assisting with the delivery of lessons, managing classroom behaviour, supporting students with additional needs, and helping to ensure that learning is engaging and effective.
Key Responsibilities for a HLTA:
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of lessons.
- Supporting students in their learning and development, both individually and in groups.
- Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Working alongside teachers to monitor and assess student progress.
- Providing tailored support for students with special educational needs.
Requirements:
HLTA Position
- A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
- A passion for supporting student learning and development.
- An Enhanced Childworkforce only DBS or willing to obtain one.
