A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Basildon is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team on a long-term basis, starting after the February half term. 🌟

About the Role:

Position: Reception Teacher 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫
Contract Type: Long-term 📝
Start Date: February 2025 (after half term) 📅
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday ⏰
Salary: Paid To Scale

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering a creative and engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum 🎨📚
Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment 🏫
Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development 💖
Monitoring and assessing progress to ensure every child reaches their potential 📈
Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s learning journey 🤝

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent 🎓
Experience teaching within the EYFS, ideally in a Reception class 🏫
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development 👶📖
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 🗣️
A nurturing and patient approach to teaching 💕
