About the Role:
Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Science Teachers to join a secondary school in Ipswich, Suffolk, starting in January 2025.
Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, we have a range of roles available to match your expertise and preferences. You’ll be teaching up to GCSE level, helping students prepare for their formal exams in June. If you’re ready to inspire the next generation of scientists, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver engaging and dynamic science lessons that inspire students and foster a love for learning.
– Plan and prepare effective teaching materials and assessments that cater to the needs of all students.
– Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential.
– Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the science curriculum.
– Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
– Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related field.
– Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary school level (KS3/KS4).
– Strong communication and classroom management skills.
– A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
