Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant Job Billericay looking for a rewarding role in a supportive educational setting? Our specialist education recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated SEND LSA for a Reception pupil with complex additional needs in a Billericay primary school.
Position: SEND Learning Support Assistant (1:1)
Location: Billericay
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Fixed-term (linked to the child)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- One-to-one support for a Reception-aged pupil with complex additional needs
- Providing intimate care as required
- Supporting the child’s social, emotional, communication, academic, and physical development
- Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning to meet the child’s individual needs
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 LSA qualification (applications without this will not be considered)
- Experience supporting children with SEND and complex needs
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide intimate care when required
