SEN LSA Job North Walsham Norfolk
4myschools are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN LSA to work at a ‘good’ school in North Walsham. This role is to start from January 2025 based on a supply basis of 1-5 days. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on a child’s learning and development. Responsibilities of the SEN LSA Job Norfolk:
Assisting students with non verbal, high communication needs and challenging behaviour in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
Support individual learning plans, helping to implement strategies and interventions.
Foster a positive and nurturing environment to boost students’ confidence and independence.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor progress and share insights on student development.
Contribute to the creation of a safe and engaging learning environment.
Requirements for the SEN LSA Job Norfolk:
Experience working with children with SEND, either in a classroom or care setting.
A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
Knowledge of specific SEND strategies and interventions is advantageous.
