SEN LSA Jobs Saxmundham. Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently looking for a experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants for daily supply and long term opportunities in Saxmundham, Suffolk. This flexible role involves working with children with individual plans, providing them with focused, one-on-one support to help them succeed academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities for SEN LSA Saxmundham:
- Provide 1:1 support for primary aged children with ASD and ADHD.
- Assist with personalized learning plans and behaviour strategies.
- Ensure students stay focused and engaged while working at separate workstations.
- Collaborate with teachers and the SEN team to create a structured and positive learning environment.
- Offer emotional and social support to help students feel confident and supported.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with ADHD or other SEN.
- Knowledge of sensory needs and experience in implementing sensory-based learning or therapeutic activities.
- Patience, understanding, and the ability to keep students on task.
- Familiarity with communication tools such as PECS, Makaton, or alternative communication systems.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working closely with teachers, specialists, and parents.
- Ability to provide personal care, if required.
- A relevant qualification in SEN support or childcare (desirable but not essential) e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools, Autism Awareness, Makaton, etc
