SEN Supply Teacher Ipswich. Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking committed SEN Supply Teachers to join our team in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Responsibilities for SEN Supply Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with diverse learning requirements.

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to address challenging behaviours and promote positive interactions within the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for pupils with SEN.

Requirements for SEN Supply Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH, SLCN, ADHD, ASD, and challenging behaviours is essential.
  • Strong understanding of SEN pedagogy, differentiated instruction, and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with pupils, colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
