Pay: £135 – £232 per day plus SEN Allowance (depending on experience and expertise)

SEN Teacher Jobs Ipswich. 4myschools are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teachers to work full time in a local SEND school. There is also the possibility of this becoming a permanent position for the ideal candidate if the role suits what you are looking for.
Our client, a SEND school in Ipswich, is recruiting a full-time class teacher for pupils aged 9 to 11 with SEND including SEMH. Class sizes are smaller than average with multiple support staff in place.

We are seeking a confident and creative teacher who enjoys working with young people and can thrive as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess enthusiasm and energy, be both creative and flexible, and be self-reflective and organized. You must be capable of planning learning activities for pupils with a wide range of needs using a fully differentiated approach.
With the support of multiple teaching assistants, the successful candidate will form a vital part of our dedicated team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students and contribute to their educational and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for each student based on their unique needs and abilities.
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, catering to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive environment, promoting independence and personal growth.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members to create a cohesive learning experience.
- Utilise appropriate teaching strategies and resources to address each student’s developmental, cognitive, and communication goals.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instructional methods accordingly.
- Maintain effective communication with parents/guardians, sharing updates on student achievements, challenges, and strategies for support.
Requirements:
QTS and relevant teaching qualification and/or experience working with children with SEND.
Knowledge and experience in creating and implementing IEPs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, parents/guardians, and other professionals.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
