We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND LSA to work with students in a vibrant school in Basildon. This role is focused on supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and Challenging Behaviour to help them reach their full potential.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive educational environment that values creativity, patience, and a tailored approach to each student’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide one-on-one and group support for students with Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges as a SEND LSA Job Basildon Essex
– Help students with their academic learning, social skills, and emotional regulation in line with their EHCP’s
– Assist teachers in adapting lessons and classroom activities to suit the needs of SEND students.
– Work closely with the school’s SENDCo, parents, and external professionals to monitor and track student progress.
– Implement behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.

Requirements:

– Previous experience working as an LSA or similar role within a SEND setting.
– Understanding of Autism, ADHD, and associated behavioural challenges.
– Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy as a SEND LSA Job Basildon Essex
– A commitment to promoting inclusion and providing equal opportunities for all learners.
– Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SEND-specific training) are desirable but not essential.
