We are currently looking for a creative and dedicated Supply Art Teacher to join our network of educators. This role offers the flexibility to work across multiple schools in the Wymondham area, providing excellent opportunities for teachers who enjoy variety and new challenges.
Role Overview:
As a Supply Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring art lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will step into classrooms to cover for teacher absences, ensuring that students continue to enjoy and develop their artistic skills. This is an ideal role for teachers who are passionate about art education and enjoy working in a dynamic and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities for a Supply Art Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality, creative art lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, following the school’s curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages students to explore their creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies and maintain a safe and productive learning space.
- Support students’ individual artistic development and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure that students meet learning objectives and deadlines for art projects.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth transition and continuity in teaching and learning.
- Maintain accurate attendance and report student progress where applicable.
- Adhere to the school’s safeguarding and health and safety policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Art, Fine Art, Design, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, creative learning environment.
- A passion for art education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
