Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time teaching role in a single form entry school, with a family-focused and friendly atmosphere, judged as GOOD by Ofsted in January 2019. This is a fixed term position to cover Year 6 whilst their current teacher is on maternity leave. The successful candidate will need to be an exceptional practitioner, with high expectations of themselves and others. They must also be able to work in successful partnership with a range of adults in school to give children the best experiences in the classroom so that they make good progress regardless of their starting point.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that adhere to the curriculum standards.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and engagement.
Develop and implement strategies to address a range of learning needs and abilities.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Participate in school meetings, professional development, and other school-related activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
Valid QTS certification (if applicable).
Proven experience teaching at the year 6 KS2 level.
Strong understanding of curriculum and instructional best practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
