Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity? Our client, a welcoming and well-established primary school in Colchester, is seeking an experienced and passionate educator to cover a long-term sickness absence. This role is available immediately and requires a committed teacher to work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with full classroom and teaching responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide tailored support where necessary.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development.
Maintain effective classroom management and uphold the school’s values.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2), ideally in Year 4.
Strong classroom management skills with a passion for inspiring young learners.
Ability to commit to a part-time, long-term role.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
