Year 6 HLTA Job – Grays

Are you an aspiring teacher or an experienced HLTA looking for a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills? This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or a graduate TA who has experience covering classes. The Role

As a Year 6 HLTA, you will:
Support the class teacher in the mornings with small group work and interventions
Lead whole-class teaching in the afternoons, delivering pre-planned lessons
Provide targeted support in reading, writing, and maths to help pupils prepare for SATs
Work closely with the teaching and leadership team to maintain high standards

Requirements

Previous HLTA experience, Graduate TA experience, or relevant classroom experience
Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum, including SATs preparation
A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
