About the Role:
As a BSL Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with hearing impairments. Your primary responsibilities will include:
✋ Assisting students in their learning and communication through BSL.
🤝 Working closely with teachers to ensure that lessons are accessible to all students.
🎓 Providing one-on-one support to students where necessary.
🌈 Supporting the inclusion of students with hearing impairments in all aspects of school life.
About You:
We are looking for candidates who:
👌 Are fluent in British Sign Language (BSL Level 2 or above is preferred).
👶 Have experience working with children, particularly those with hearing impairments.
💛 Are patient, empathetic, and have strong communication skills.
