The new framework makes finding a trusted good supply teacher agency easy
What does the new Supply Teachers and Temporary Staffing (STaTS) framework offer schools?
The new CCS framework will help schools fill temporary and fixed term teaching and non-teaching roles more easily. It does this through trusted compliant agencies with transparent cost savings.
Schools can also avoid temp to perm fees for a worker who has been in post for 12 weeks or more, providing 4 weeks’ notice is given.
The agreement provides a compliant procurement for schools, a standard set of terms and conditions that agencies must adhere to.
What are the improvements?
The new agreement has 25% more suppliers.
A new Education Technology Platform (Lot 4) which 4myschools are suppliers.
STaTS also offer a simplified pricing model, moving from a percentage to one that uses pounds and pence, offering more transparency, so schools can be confident they are choosing the most cost-effective option and potentially greater savings.
Is this all about saving schools money ?
Whilst this is a great benefit, it’s not all about the financial savings. The agreement offers robust background screening and safeguarding to DfE Keeping Children Safe in Education standards. This means that schools have peace of mind on the suppliers they are contracting with and staff they are hiring. The suppliers are audited and accredited to show they have best practice standards in education recruitment.
