What is SEND work like?
Working in SEND / SEN teaching can be quite demanding, but it’s truly a rewarding role. It’s a job that requires patience and understanding.
We know how critical matching the right staff to the children is. To do this well we work hard to recruit for SEND Teachers, ASD Teachers, SEMH Teachers, subject specialist teachers for Alternative Provision Schools, SEND Teaching Assistants, SEMH Teaching Assistants and many more to help us match better.
Depending on the needs and severity of the children’s conditions, you may be working one-to-one with individuals, or with a small group of children within a larger classroom situation.
Whatever the situations our SEN recruiters always give you the options and you make the decisions so you are in control.
